This is the first blog post under the Currently Obsessed series and it’s themed around the perfect Sunday. For me, not having to work and doing absolutely nothing on a Sunday is THE PERFECT SUNDAY but that seems too far fetched! So, I usually work half day but dress like I’m on a holiday (somewhere with sun.sea.sand) – laid back & relaxed with an edge (why, of course!), listen to music that keeps my mind free and eat food that reminds me of places that I’ve travelled to while wishing I was there.

5) Stalking Travel Power Couple @gypsea_lust and @doyoutravel ‘s instagram
I am going to put it out there that I AM SO JEALOUS of them! They took the “Do What You Love” advise way too literally. Yeah, they get paid a whole sum of money (up to USD 9,000 per picture. Yes, PER PICTURE) The travel power couple (I hate them! but also love them), who celebrated their first anniversary two weeks ago, met in Fiji while working together on a job. They now live in Bali, Indonesia. Check out their instagram feed and see for yourself, the pictures are just incredible.
6) Turkish breakfast at Common Man Coffee Roaster
This is literally the only thing I eat there! I love hummus, I love feta cheese, I love olives and I love eggs – So, how can I not be obsessed with this meal. It also reminds me of my trip to Istanbul a few years back. It’s one of the most beautiful city I’ve ever been to. I wish I had gone to other parts of Turkey too i.e. Cappadocia (I have a thing for hot air balloons). Well, I guess there’s always a next time. For now, I will enjoy my Turkish Breakfast with a side of my all time favourite coffee, Piccolo.
FOREVER OBSESSED
I saved the BEST for last and this is something that I am FOREVER OBSESSED with – HudaBeauty Lip Matte. Once you try their lip matte, every other lip mattes means nothing! NOTHING. Ok, I’m being dramatic but seriously the formula is perfection – highly pigmented, long lasting and non-drying.
Unfortunately they are not available in Malaysia yet, but you can purchase them at www.cultbeauty.co.uk . I ordered mine and it took 2 weeks to deliver which is not bad and well worth it (trust me!).

I’m currently obsessed with few successful girl bosses. For example, vivy yusof (fashion valet), yiulin (shoesshoes), including you (impressed.com, curated.com) and many more. U guys are inspiration for me in many ways. Im a medical student and i would always want to work with other fields and not only in hospitals in future. And i always had this mindset that i won’t be having enough time and so on. But u guys made me realise that nothing is impossible as long as we do our best and trying it especially you. I also understand that you are married mum and yet giving your best in working life. Besides that, u thought me its good to spread the healthy vibes like how impressed did. 😍 i knew the competition ended already. First of all hi, and congratulations on an amazing year. From your wedding last year to your Women On the Rise 2016 award and to your businesses. I must say you’re an exemplary women. To be honest last year I came across Marion Caunters ig profile when she was on that Greece holiday with yiu lin, Deborah, and your sister zaireen. I got curious and I searched/stalked (potayto/ potahto) all their profiles. That’s when I bumped into your profile. I saw a picture of your wedding on Zaireens profile and you’ve been keeping me engaged since then. You could say that was my obsession haha. I’d just like to follow to see all the cool places, events , parties, styles, holidays, and even family. And it just gives me hope and encouragement to keep doing what I’m doing because hey, someday ( years from now), I’ll see you in those privileged social events and say, “hey remember me, I won your Huda beauty giveaway. I’m still in uni. 3rd year. Ahh true, social media only portrays images that we want to show the world. For instance we don’t post pictures of us suffering through uni, only travel pictures and everyone thinks we have it easy. They can’t be anymore wrong. Thaankss 🙂

Currently studying for my finals next week. This is when I get weird new obsessions. Hey, any reason to procrastinate right? Current obsessions would be baking cookies because I’m always hungry and the chocolate smell mmhm. Another fave would listening to songs which I don’t understand the language. That’s when you feel the emotions behind it though. Always a must every exam season also is reruns of the tv show FRIENDS. That’s major LOL.

Ah! Currently obsessed about matte lipsticks. Tried stila (they are the best so far), KatVonD, Melted by too faced, Limecrime and the list goes on. Love how it stays on your lips, stila especially. Tak perlu top up the lipstick even after eating the oily curry at kenduri ! Too bad I havent got my hands on any of Hudabeauty’s!
On the other hand, I have always love watching the Sunsets. Fascinated by different colors and hues everyday (and some days you dont get to see them at all 😂). Since it is “musim panas” these few weeks I found myself eagerly looking fwd to my evening to see the sunset. Spend some time watching sunset and you will realise how fast time passes, you ll be surprised how fast the sun sets and the darkness start creeping in. Btw, Sabah has one of the nicest sunset.
Other than that, I have always love food, always enjoy taking pictures of food. My ig is full with pictures of food I make. I was once obsessed in making salad and healthy food (trying to lose weight and failed now & then) , that was when I started following your ig and updates on #healthiernation . Too bad at the moment im mad about baking brownies 😂

Hello, Zaida! Thank you so so much for having this giveaway. I’m currently obsessed with the idea of “less is more”, hence why I’ve been really wanting Huda’s Lip Matte Minis in the nude range. Firstly, kudos to Huda for coming up with the minis. I used to buy lipsticks in their original sizes and always end up wasting almost half the tube when it reaches the expiry date so with the minis, there’s no need to worry about wasting the lipsticks. People always say wearing nude colors on the lips will make one look washed out but I want to be given the opportunity to prove them wrong. It’s all about embracing your own (natural) beauty, how you carry yourself and the happiness that comes from within. Andddd with “less is more”, one can always spice things up easily by adding more make up to suit the occasion.

i’m super obsessed with the cold shoulder trend!! i love off shoulder tops as well but i cant be bothered to wear a strapless bra. cold shoulders give the same effect but minus the hassle of a strapless. and i’ve also been loving the liquid lipsticks! i feel like every brand is coming out with their own and i’m obsessed! i do not own any Huda Beauty products but i’ve heard so many great reviews about it that i’m dying to try it!

I’m actually currently obsessed with Vivy Yusof. A remarkable entrepreneur who managed to utilize her personal branding as the best marketing effort, combined through the use of social media. Honestly it’s a work of art how she managed to give this method a real kick start, especially in this country. It gave her brand the upmost personal touch. And it’s great how you continuously support her as a friend. It’s incredible what us woman can do as modern days arrive.

If you ask me about obsession, beautiful words have always been my number one. There are just days, where you needed a little pick me up and they just appeared somewhere and made you going. Or even on The Perfect Sundays of yours, when you read something that makes you feel forever so grateful for what you have, all the little things. Even through song lyrics.
So here’s a little obsession of mine for now,
